Type E Roof Hatch
Type E roof hatch, 36" x 36" (914mm x 914mm),ideal for applications requiring roof access slightly larger than the typical 36" x 30" opening. They are commonly used for ladder access or to remove or install small pieces of equipment in a building.

Security Series Roof Hatch
Constructed of heavier gauge materials for high security applications such as correctional facilities, banks, embassies and pharmaceutical buildings. Security Series roof hatches can be fabricated for field installation of many leading brands of security locks. Other options include security glazing and gunports (shown with optional detention lock, security glazing, and tnemec finish).

This enables service personnel to enter or exit the roof hatch, vault or manhole in an upright and balanced position, as though the interior ladder extended above roof or grade level.
